Our first camp out!! Peyton was such a champ, and he did so well that we will for sure be going again this summer! We went with the Roots up to Arrow Rock Reservoir, which is a beautiful lake! The sad part is that we didn't get to use the boat! Come to find out, no one winterized it so the engine cracked!!! Jake is really not happy cause now we have no access to a boat and if only someone would've told us last winter, we would've paid to have it done. Anyway...Peyton did great and we did have fun with the family aside from the boat. :)
Oh yeah...we did hear two drunk people crash their boat into the shore at 1:00am!!! No one was hurt but they almost hit some other people's tent!

He is soooo cute! And getting so big! We need to get together soon Candice...it has been WAY too long! So sad about your boat...I would have been crying like a baby. Love you guys!
Looks like a lot of fun! I want to take our boys camping but I don't know how well the sleeping and such would go...did he sleep pretty well? He is getting SO big and is real cute!

You're so brave, bugs, dirt and a baby for me don't mix! Maybe next year or if I get brave a little later this summer. We're ditching out on our family reunion this weekend. Sad to not see family, but not missing the headache of getting there. Bummer about the boat!
PS It was so fun seeing you last week. Peyton is so cute, Lexi and him will definitely be pals!
Fun! We can use my dad's boat if we ever need too! Not quie the set up for boarding but it will get the job done. Only problem is school is starting soon and then we are pretty much out of comission. Hope all is well, miss you guys!
